SEPULTURA Guitarist Jams With CHOLERIC Drummer: Video Available

Drummer Josh Villalta of the Los Angeles band CHOLERIC has uploaded several video clips of his jam with SEPULTURA guitarist Andreas Kisser as part of Andreas' special guitar clinic at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California on January 25, 2006.

Commented Villalta: "I met and had been hanging out with Andreas the whole week he was in L.A. [recording his parts for the latest ASESINO album]. I was with a friend and we went early with Andreas to his guitar clinic.... I was messin' around with him and told him, 'Look, a drum set. Let's jam.' He said, 'You know SEPULTURA?' I replied, 'Fuck yeah, of course,' and then said 'OK, well, we'll see.' At this point I was like, 'Holy shit. Is this gonna really happen?' Well, when he was done with his guitar clinic, he called me out on it, so there was no backin' out. It's not like I listen to SEPULTURA every day or even play there stuff often, so it was completely on the fly. We both fucked up on parts, but fuck it... it wasn't rehearsed! This is more than an honor to be able to do this and also to be able to have it recorded. I never thought as a kid that I would ever be able to jam with someone who has influenced me growing up!!"
